SCHEDULE DISCOVERY PHONE CALL

The discovery call is a free 15 minute phone conversation with a McCay Southern sales rep. The purpose of this call is for each party to be well informed. We want to educate the homeowner on generators, our processes, and our pricing.

2

SCHEDULE FREE IN-HOME CONSULTATION

During the in-home consultation our sales rep will meet with the homeowner and discuss the following:

1. The power needs of the homeowner during a power outage.

2. Which size generator will meet those needs.

3. Which fuel source will be used. (Propane or Natural Gas)

4. The best location to place the generator and transfer switch.

5. The right payment option for the homeowner. (We offer financing and a monthly subscription plan.)

3

SCHEDULE INSTALLATION

Once the homeowners approves the proposal we present them with we will begin scheduling a time to install the generator. We will contact the homeowner and find a day that works well for them. We will also take care of any electrical permits and electrical disconnects that need to be coordinated.

4

INSTALLATION DAY

The installation of the generator is usually a (1) day event. To install the generator, the power to the homeowners house will need to be disconnected for only about 90 minutes.

The timeline for hooking the fuel source up to the generator is dependent on a couple things. If using propane, the tank will need to be filled and on site before the full installation can be completed. If using natural gas the meter might require upsizing, this will also delay the process.

5

FAMILARIZATION AND POWER OUTAGE SIMULATION

This is where one of our technicians will walk the homeowners through the basics of monitoring and checking the generator. We will also discuss with the homeowner the best time to schedule the generator to run it's weekly (5) minute test. Lastly, the technician will simulate a power outage and allow the generator to bring power to the house.

6

SCHEDULE yearly MAintenance

We will schedule a yearly maintenance to be performed on the generator. This is how we ensure the generator stays in warranty and conduct preventative maintenance procedures.
